Gary has worked with both profit and not-for-profit groups on strategic planning, new company start-ups, turnarounds and rapid growth and expansion.
Prior to consulting, Gary spent 5+ years as CEO of the Industry Training Authority (ITA). This organization runs the apprenticeship system for all skilled trades training for British Columbia. While at ITA Gary developed strong relationships with several associations across BC that were connected to the Apprenticeship system.
Before ITA, Gary spent many years in various manufacturing companies with annual revenues to $400M+ in both Ontario and British Columbia. The products included auto parts, railway trackwork, agricultural equipment, steelmaking, and large capital projects for mining, oil and gas, automotive, aerospace, pulp & paper, marine and clean energy sectors.
Gary’s specialities include extensive Consulting, Board Experience, Executive Leadership, Operational Excellence and Management Development. He is a certified Tool & Die Maker, Certified Die Sinker (forging), Certified Manufacturing Engineer, has a MBA and an Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) Certification.

He is highly effective and results-driven with a proven track record of providing and implementing recommendations to address deficiencies in ERP implementation projects. Tony is able to lead, train and integrate staff from diverse backgrounds to support project deliverables. He is focused on optimizing organizational performance. Tony has worked within organizations as an employee or consultant for over 30 years. He has worked on capital projects valued up to $5 billion.
